Day 1 - November 11 - Arusha/Zanzibar

Days 2/3 - November 12/13 - Zanzibar

Explore the mix of Swahili, Arab and Indian influences in Stonetown – a place of winding alleys, bustling bazaars, mosques and unique carved, wooden doors – and recently designated a World Heritage Site. Visit the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum, Dr. Livingstone’s House, the Arab Fort and the National Museum of Zanzibar.  Then, dazzle your senses at a spice plantation and watch as the rare, red colobus monkeys play overhead in Jozani Forest.  Take a full-day excursion to Kizimkazi, a fishing village at the southern point of the island which is the site of a 12th century mosque, the earliest evidence of Islam in East Africa.  Board a small boat to look for Spinner and Bottle-nosed dolphins, and when you find these curious creatures, go swimming with them!  ZANZIBAR SERENA INN. Days 4/5 -November 14/15 - Zanzibar/Amsterdam/
