Tarangire Sopa Lodge

 

The Tarangire Sopa is a large resort type hotel offering a variety of facilities. The outbuildings may look strange when you arrive as the roof sweeps down to the floor. Upon entering, you see a whole other picture. The view from the lodge is spectacular, overlooking part of the Tarangire Hill. There is also a unique swimming pool which is located at the edge of a rocky gorge and it has its own bar and snack kitchen, offering a refreshing interlude between game drives. The hotel has 75 rooms all containing twin queen size beds. The décor is plain but pleasant. All rooms have a small lounge in the front portion, but the verandah provides for far better relaxation. All bathrooms are en suite and have amenities such as bidets and hair dryers.
