Sawai Madhopur
Lodge

Situated amidst twelve acres of lush gardens, the Sawai Madhopur Lodge emanates a rustic, earthy charm and a historic atmosphere.  Built by Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II over seventy years ago in the 1930’s, the area was used primarily as a hunting lodge.  Conveniently located at about twenty minutes away from Ranthambhore National Park, today the original two-story main house is still very attractive, with a deep verandah that swoops in a semicircle overlooking the lawns and outbuildings where many of the rooms are located.  The superior rooms have a view of the front gardens close to the lobby, and each is equipped with a writing desk, dressing table, a mini bar and color television.
